The FORCE Society for kids Mental Health in Partnership with SD46, Gibsons Elemantry PAC & Cedar Grove Elemantry PAC
Anxiety is the most commonly diagnosed mental helth condition in childern and youth. 1 in 4
childern experience significant anxiety at some point in their lives. This event will explore
common childhood fears and how parents can respond with empathy, and coach childern to
think helpful thoughts and gradually face their fears.
Presenter:
Victoria Keddis - The FORCE Society for Kids Mental Health
Victoria is a parent in Residence with The F.O.R.C.E Society for Kids Mental Health and she is
a parent with lived experience. Victoria is a certified BC FRIENDS for Life and Fun Friends
Parent facilitator which has reinforced the learning along the way.
