Regular Schedule

 

8:20am   First Bell

•Students enter the building.

•Students line up quietly in the hall (or breezeways) outside their classrooms until   

 their teacher invites them in.

•When invited students go into classroom, settle, and get organized for the day.

 

8:30am   Warning Bell

•Students should be ready to start their day of learning.

 

8:35am  Instruction Begins

 

10:15am  Recess Begins

10:30am  Warning Bell for students

10:35am  Instruction Begins again       

 

11:40am  (no bell)

•If teacher chooses and only with the teacherís permission, while it is still

       instructional time, eating can begin while instruction continues.

 

11:50am - 12:05pm  Eating time, classroom clean-up

12:05pm Play time begins

12:25pm Warning Bell for students

12:30pm Afternoon Instruction begins

 

2:30pm Dismissal

        •Kindergarten and early primary bus students are collected just a few

             minutes earlier than dismissal by the EA in charge of bus duty.  

        •Bus leaves very quickly after dismissal.

     •Staff and students walk through the hallways to the front of the

             school and into breezeway/courtyard areas to meet parents or bus.
